Sometimes in my dreams I am a lady of the King’s court. Which King? Any King. I just want to wear the dresses and bodices, dance, drink and be merry. I may watch far too much of The Tutors. However my inner Lady of the Court was awoken when I stumbled on this lovely gem on Etsy.
For some a $400 skirt, given the right occasion is a great deal; maybe their wedding. However for me that is a terrible deal so I busted out some tulle (30 yards to be exact) and got to reproducing this piece. My skirt was not quite as full but it was only $30.
Side note: I don’t do well with patterns.
You will need:
- Tulle: The more you buy the fuller your skirt will be. I used 30 yards; I am 5’9 and wear a size 8 or 10.
